An E-learning application for Personal tuition’s through internet is what Cygnet Infotech designed for its client to deliver online math’s and science supplement education to K4-K12 students in US by tuition BPO in India. The company initiated Cygnet Infotech to create a Learning Management System tutor that could provide collaboration tools for delivering lessons to students one to one or a small group. The key requirement was to have a system that follows the actual tuition environment as closely as possible while delivering virtual tuitions globally.

Fulfilling the client’s requirement, Cygnet Infotech built the software application which actually delivers virtual tuitions while duplicating the physical tuition environment. The client has deployed the application in the tuition BPO. The BPO employs more than 100 tutors and delivers more than 500 classes every day using this application. The application manages a significant part of administration work.

The software gives the feel of actual tuition where students can have discussions with the tutor, solve exercises, refer content, complete his homework and refer to his completed works. The parent/guardian section helps in keeping a tab on the child’s progress and even view recorded class sessions. The white board is the most interactive tool, like a notebook, it is the space for the tutor and the child to work.

The software has some additional features like uploading courses, selection of time and date of the lectures, interactive discussion. It also tracks enrolment related information, online/offline application form and online payment or donation.

The technology used for the software application is ASP.net 2.0, C# and MS SQL.
The system provided convenience and technology and has become one single application that is the backbone for the total operations of the tuition BPO.
