Homeschool Students to Benefit from Highly Praised Visual Arts Online Curriculum

March 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Art in Action, a leading nonprofit art education organization, today announced the introduction of a comprehensive, masterpiece-based online art program for homeschool students. The 72 art lessons are presented in six different sequential program modules, all aligned with national and California state academic content standards for visual arts.

The new homeschool art program, named Art in Action @home, is designed to be taught by parents. It includes many exciting features, such as animated discussions of the masterpieces; video demonstrations of art techniques; wikis for sharing tips and ideas; links to interesting websites, books, and music; spoken instructions; and much more. The curriculum provides detailed, recipe-style directions for guiding successful discussions and projects, and integrates with language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
