Debbie Abel, Au.D. is the director of reimbursement for the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Abel also provides audiologic services supporting two otolaryngologists in Poway, CA and is an adjunct instructor at A.T. Still University. She received her B.S. in Education and M.A. from Kent State University and her Au.D. From A.T. Still University. Dr. Abel served as a member of the Board of the American Academy of Audiology, chaired the Academy’s Coding and Reimbursement Committee, served as a member of the Academy’s Ethical Practice Board and was a member and past Chair of the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is an Athena Award recipient
