The Middle East’s Leading Leisure Marine Event Opens With Five Days Of Live Entertainment

March 9, 2010 - PRLog -- The 18th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show was opened this afternoon by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler Of Dubai, marking the start of five days of live entertainment and the largest display of boats in the Middle East.

The Dubai International Boat Show takes place at the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) until 13 March 2010 and is open to the general public and trade buyers.

This year there will be many great deals available from some of the world’s top leisure marine companies.”

A high number of VIP’s have already been through the doors of the Dubai International Boat Show on the opening day, signalling a buoyant week of business ahead.

“The Dubai International Boat Show is also one of the focal points of the social season in Dubai and visitors will be able to enjoy many captivating features, while viewing some of the most beautiful boats and yachts on the planet,” added Almarri.

The show also offers a wide range of entertainment including live music, demonstrations from world wakeboarding champion Nick Davies, the launch of the JETLEV-FLYER, an exclusive bubble lounge and a beautiful mermaid fashion competition, sponsored by Desert Fish magazine.

There will also be a dedicated dive village as part of DMEX, the Middle East’s only dedicated dive exhibition, alongside the new Superyacht Pavilion, a Superyacht Boulevard presenting yachts over 25 metres, DTCM Heritage Village and VIP Majlis.

Other exciting highlights include visitors prize draws from Al Yousef (Yamaha), Asis Boats and Leisure Marine.

The Dubai International Boat Show will also be the backdrop for 15 global launches and more than 25 regional premiers, including announcements from Aquatech Yachts, BVC International, Emirates Boats, Gulf Craft, IMG Boats, Mercedes-Benz, NRG Marine, Pearlwatercrafts (JETLEV) and Seadunes, with regional launches for three Azimut models and Four Winns all scheduled by ART Marine.

The Dubai International Boat Show 2010 will take place at Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi from 9 – 13 March 2010. The show is open to trade visitors and general public, from 3pm – 9.30pm daily.
