PRLog -- Sunquest Day Spa has changed their name to Skyn.......the day spa. We are located in downtown Freehold. Skyn is a very upscale, high end day spa inside a very high end trendy soho vibe Hair Salon, Bella Rose Salon, which also offers Makeup & Photography. 2 great businesses to offer you all of your beautifying needs under one roof! At Skyn the owner, Stefani Altieri, is the main esthetician and is hands on and does most of the services herself. Altieri who also owns Sunquest Tanning on Rt 9 in Freehold is in process of selling the tanning salon to pursue her passion in the spa industry and has decided to change the name of Sunquest Day Spa to Skyn. Stefani purchased Sunquest Tanning in 2000 and has made renovations, upgrades & changes to the salon every year to benefit the clients. In 2007, she added spa services to Sunquest and changed the name to Sunquest Tanning & Day Spa. Altieri was making a name for herself and building a clientele quickly especially at first with the airbrush tanning, she customizes to each client and pays close attention to detail that most technicans don't do. Each spray tan comes out flawless and natural and we use two different systems, Infinity Sun & Fantasy Tan, the two best in the business. In 2008, Karen Filos, owner of Bella Rose Salon a long time friend of Stefani's called and asked if she would be interested in joining forces and share space with her newly expanded salon. Stefani then decided to further her education and attended Concord Beauty school to study and get liscensed as an Esthetician. Stefani is now trained and skilled in all aspects of the industry and is extremely passionate about what she does and it shows in all of her work! We offer a multitude of services which include, Facials, Chemcial Peels, the newest one is the VI Peel with amazing results and great for ethnic skin as well! Dermaplaning is also new to Skyn, this gives an alternative to Microderm with some added benefits: doesn't have the suction of the vacuum as the microderm which can be too invasive for sensitive clients and it removes the peach fuzz "vellous hair" from your face without it growing back thicker or more! Dermaplaning also thins and defines your face giving it an amazing glow & dimishes fine lines, acne scaring, hyperpigmentation & more!
