B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Group Announces Ticker Symbol Change to “BIGP”

Feb. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Cairo, Egypt (February 26, 2010) – B.I.G. - ElBarbary Investment Group (www.big.com.eg) announced today that its ticker symbol will change from “BAIN” to “BIGP” effective 28th February 2010.
All stock trading, filings, and market related information will be reported under the new ticker symbol “BIGP” on the Nilex Stock Exchange.
Reuters approved the change in ticker symbol to “BIGP” in accordance with the request submitted by B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Group as stated by Mansour ElBarbary, owner and CEO of B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Group
The request to change B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Groups’ ticker symbol is based on B.I.G. becoming a brand name that symbolizes one of the leading and most promising companies that has received approval to be listed on the Nilex Stock Exchange, the new stock exchange for SMEs.  
The change in B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Group’s trading symbol to “BIGP” allows the investment community to identify the Company much more easily and to associate it with B.I.G.’s growing reputation.

B.I.G. – ElBarbary Investment Group is currently working with Mr. Maged Shawky, Chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and Dr. Mohamed Omran, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Stock Exchange, on the final phases of the private placement of its stock on the Nilex Stock Exchange.  Official dates for the private placement have not been set as of yet.
