1 Million Doses of AIDS Medication to Haiti

Feb. 12, 2010 - PRLog -- This charity works tirelessly to provide millions of doses of medication to AIDS victims in communities and villages with emphasis in sub-saharan Africa and soon earthquake stricken Haiti.  Without the generous support of the Donors, these people would perish.  The service is a matter of life and death!  

HEDAC is rated in the top 40 charities in Canada in the January 2010 edition of MoneySense Magazine, a leading Canadian Business publication for spending less than 3% of its donations on administration.  This actually ranks HEDAC number 2 in this category (see link on website), illustrating a tightly run charitable organization.

As a result of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, HEDAC's board of directors in an emergency meeting has decided to redirect a minimum of one million doses of AIDS medication to help the Haitians.  HEDAC is the process of completing a strategic alliance with two U.S. AIDS organizations that have been on the ground in Haiti for years working with the 1000's of Haitians AIDS patients.  They say that they are desperate for HEDAC's medications.  As a result, HEDAC is logistically working to fly a minimum amount of medication while the balance will be shipped by water.  Unfortunately, HEDAC does not have the funding to fly all the AIDS meds to Haiti.

These great (not good) works merits HEDAC a serious consideration to make a much needed donation.
