Bekay - The Hunger Pains Remix EP [Available Feb. 9th, 2010]

Jan. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Coalmine Records is pleased to announce the February 9th release of The Hunger Pains Remix EP. Fresh off the November 10th, 2009 release of Bekay's critically acclaimed album Hunger Pains, Coalmine has assembled a four track remix EP that contains two remixes to each of the albums two singles, "I Am" feat. DJ Revolution (prod. by The Alchemist) & "Brooklyn Bridge" feat. Masta Ace (prod. by DJ Babu). The first remix of "I Am" combines the original Alchemist produced track with a guest appearance from underground heavyweights Dilated Peoples along with a new verse from Bekay. This version was previously only available on the physical copy of Hunger Pains and as an album only download through iTunes. The second version of "I Am" is the NODFACTOR.com Remix, which takes the original lyrics and cuts from "I Am" with all new production from DJ Qvali, winner of the "I Am" Remix Contest. For the first remix of "Brooklyn Bridge", accurately named "Brooklyn Bridge [Part II]", Bekay lays down some new rhymes and enlists the mic skills of his fellow Brooklynites Sha Stimuli & Push! Montana over Babu's classic instrumental. The Hunger Pains Remix EP comes to a conclusion with the M-Phazes Remix of the original version of "Brooklyn Bridge" featuring Masta Ace.
