TriMark Solutions Announces Recent Google AdWords Certification of Newest Employees

Jan. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC – January 19, 2010 – TriMark Solutions is proud to announce that the company’s two newest Junior Internet Marketers have successfully passed the Google AdWords Professionals Exam.  As of January 19, 2010, Dylan Benton and Rand Cournow have both passed the exam, bringing TriMark’s number of Qualified Google Advertising Professionals up to seven.  For a business to be considered an AdWords Qualified Company, it must have a minimum of two successfully passed exams from individuals employed by the business. Adwords Qualified Companies must also maintain a minimum $100,000 in quarterly AdWords account budgets.  As of January 2010, TriMark Solutions manages $1.2 Million in annual AdWords investments.  TriMark Solutions also requires every member of their Internet Marketing Team to earn and maintain their status as a Certified Advertising Professional.

In November 2009, Google raised the bar on the Google AdWords Exam.  In an effort to further challenge potential AdWords professionals, Google increased the difficulty of the exam, now includes many more conceptual questions.  Previous AdWords Exams were much more definitional in questioning and required understanding.  Google also raised the minimum passing score from 75% to 85%, meaning individuals must now pass a more difficult exam with a higher score than Google has ever previously required.  These changes have already started to show a decline in individuals becoming certified, ensuring that Qualified AdWords Professionals now truly have a professional level of knowledge of the AdWords PPC system.
