Access Control Or Just Controlled Access?

Sense of any access control system should be at least avoiding unauthorized access, for instance by just following somebody authorized. It does not really matter what kind of system is in operation, RFiD cards, fingerprint readers or gate remote controls. Once opened the door or gate, you should be aware that access is also granted for potential criminals as not always is a man sized turnstile applicable which generates additional costs, and may disturb normal traffic flow or even the ability to escape in an emergency situation.  

But simple following is exactly the pattern quite often used by criminals in order to attempt theft and robberies.

FollowerControl consists from a unique horizontal double beam with on board direction verification and a controller with pre warning signal for intruders or reminder to identify for users. The direction verification enables to unrestricted traffic flow in one direction, usually the way out. Simultaneously the system restricts the traffic flow in the opposite direction, usually the way in.

After positive identification by any measure, access is granted from the system for one car or person only. Any unauthorised follower will set off the pre alarm which can only be reset by positive identification within 20 seconds. After the delay or in case of more than one follower at a time, the main alarm is triggered immediately. As FollowerControl is an independent operating and open system, it is suitable for all access restricted areas and can hook up with any system from simple gate remotes for private properties and complexes to card and fingerprint readers, or face, number plate and iris recognition systems.
