Z-Bowl Selects Nation’s Top Game Company for Arcade Games

Jan. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- When customers enter Z-Bowl Family Entertainment Center in downtown Mebane, they will be treated to more than 65 of the newest and most popular games available. FEC Partners LLC, developer of the Z-Bowl project, has contracted with Betson Enterprises, the leading distributor of coin-operated amusement and vending equipment in the United States, to provide some the world’s most popular arcade games at the new family entertainment center. Roger Camp, President of FEC Partners, said that the Raleigh-based real estate investment company selected Betson because of its vast experience as a national supplier and manufacturer of arcade games.

“We chose Betson Enterprises because they have the capability of providing Z-Bowl with a continuous supply of the latest and greatest games in the world,” said Camp. “Because large scale games like NASCAR Showdown and the NBA change on a regular basis, we wanted to select a company that will keep things current. Betson has the ability and expertise to keep the games fresh and exciting.”

The games being installed include favorites such as: Big Bass Wheel, Guitar Hero, Cyclone, Deal or No Deal and Raizing Storm.

In addition to the latest arcade games, Z-Bowl will feature 18 high tech Qubica-AMF bowling lanes, a “small ball” bowl area, billiards, a beer and wine bar, open-hearth pizza and open-flame grill.

FEC Partners and Camp are investing close to $700,000 in the arcade games and small bowl alone.

Z-Bowl is expected to open this April. The Family Entertainment Center will be located at the corner of East Washington and 5th Street in downtown Mebane just ½ block off Highway 70 (Center Street). From I-85/I-40, take exit #153 or #154 to downtown Mebane.
