By: Johanne Tassé President and Founder 514-232-6282 info@caacq.ca Montreal- Highway 401 is the path that unites many families and friends living in Québec and Ontario, from May 2008 to December 2009, it became the Highway of Hope for 436 homeless dogs through the caacQ’s Le French Connection program. The Province of Québec’s pet overpopulation problem continues to be a challenge in 2010, making options very limited for its’ homeless dogs. This in turn makes Le French Connection a necessary and critical endeavour in order to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in Québec. The objective of the Le French Connection is to find loving families in the Toronto area to adopt more homeless dogs from Québec. The caacQ projects that Le French Connection will transport approximately 300 dogs to Ontario in 2010. Help ensure that Highway 401 continues to be the Highway of Hope for the homeless dogs in Québec this year by supporting the caacQs’ Le French Connection program Donations are needed to fund transportation of the dogs and the program is seeking complimentary hotel accommodations for its volunteer drivers.
