RIS PACS software implementation

Jan. 9, 2010 - PRLog -- NewCreationIT has won a contract to implement a Radiology information system (RIS) picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) system for a customer in Doha, Qatar. The RIS system will contain all the typical workflow required to manage a typical imaging center along with PACS and DICOM viewer capabilities. This is a complete web-based system. The system will also be integrated in to the customers existing hospital information system (HIS) via HL7 messaging. Orders can be entered in to the RIS via the HIS or by the front office at the Imaging center.

The implementation is scheduled to commence the second week of January 2010 and be completed by mid May 2010.
