Follow on Google News | WebReserv launches Embedded Booking Calendar for WordpressWebReserv has made it easier than ever to add bookings and reservations to Wordpress websites via two new plugins.
By: WebReserv The new plug-in lets businesses quickly are easily add the availability calendar to their Wordpress with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. WebReserv first created the Sidebar Booking Calendar plugin, which opens the booking system in a new window, but requests from users quickly showed the demand for a plug-in to add the booking & reservation component directly to any PAGE or POST in Wordpress. “The system has always been designed to be easily embedded within any CMS system by simply pasting the booking calendar into any web page, but we found that what developers may consider simple HTML quickly becomes complex for DIY [Do It Yourself] business owners who were making their first website with Wordpress.” says Martin Israelsen, founder of WebReserv. He continues, “We therefore first created a simple Wordpress side bar plug-in that simply required the business owner adding their WebReserv Business ID, which then opened a new web page where people could make their bookings.” “We quickly received many requests for a plugin that could add the calendar to a Wordpress PAGE or POST, so we released the new embedded version”, concludes Martin. WebReserv has been providing online booking and reservation capability since 2004, and opened their European offices in 2008 in Seville, Spain. The WebReserv.eu website is targeted at European businesses with multi-language support.
