The 11th Harbin Ice and Snow World

Dec. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- This winter,the Harbin Ice and Snow World will be held  in the bank of Songhua River as it used to.In the venue,the ice sculptors from all over the world will use 150,000 cubic meter ice and 100,000 cubic meter snow to create more than 2,000 ice/snow sculptures. According to the sponsor,the venue will cover an area of 600,000 squre meteres,and pass beyond all its past scales. This year,the venue of the Ice and Snow World will be the main meeting-place of the opening ceremony of the 26th Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival.It consists of six sections.Tourists can enjoy many interesting things there,such as snowmobiles,ice slides,ice rock-climbing,space experience,animal performances,Russian-style dances,ballet on the ice,snow-screen movie etc.
