First State Fights Presents 'Total Disregard'

Delaware’s premiere mixed martial arts organization hosts competition.

Nov. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Dover, DE— This Saturday, November 21, First State Fights presents Delaware’s premiere mixed martial arts competition, ‘Total Disregard’. The event will be held in Delaware State University’s Memorial Hall in Dover, DE.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the first fight begins at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at or by contacting one of the represented fight teams. Ticket prices are $30 for general admission and $40 for floor seating. Cage-side seating has already sold out. General admission tickets can be purchased at the door for $35.

This amateur fight card includes 13 bouts and teams from Maryland; Ground Control Academy and Sanctum MMA, Pennsylvania; Team Hammer and Lopresti’s MMA, and Delaware; Team Steele, Primal Fights, Dauntless MMA, 302 BJJ, Elite BJJ and Team Viper. Visit for fight card information and updates.

The main event features the Superlight Heavyweight Title Match between Daryl Harris of Elite BJJ and Frank Lauro of Team Steele. Other attractions include local fan favorite, Joey Coleman, fighting for a middleweight championship and special guest referee, Jon “Man of Faith” Murphy, calling the fights. Murphy is known for his fights on Elite XC and MTV’s “Bully Beatdown”.

Many vendors will be in attendance including; SFX, Policy, Never Tap Out, Fat Lip Fight Wear, the United States Marine Corps, and the Delaware Army National Guard. Concessions will be provided by the college.
