Follow on Google News | uTest Presents Why Mobile Apps Require Real-World Testing & How Crowdsourcing Can Help at GTAC 2009CEO and Co-Founder of uTest Doron Reuveni to Present at 4th Annual Google Test Automation Conference
By: uTest “In the highly competitive world of mobile applications, getting high-quality apps to market can quickly make or break the success of a product,” said Reuveni. “But the testing methods that have worked for web and desktop apps fall short of meeting mobile’s ‘in-the-wild’ In this session, Doron will examine the complimentary role a community of professional testers plays in mobile testing, as well as address the benefits and challenges of a crowdsourced model compared with conventional testing methods. Doron is one of a select group of speakers chosen to present at GTAC from more than 100 submissions. Other presenting companies include Microsoft, smartFOCUS Digital, Sauce Labs and Google. This year's GTAC theme is "Testing for the Web,” and will focus on test automation strategies, tools, and the challenges desktop and mobile environments present when creating web apps. The two-day conference will be held at the Google Zurich office. About GTAC The Google Test Automation Conference began in 2006 under the guidance and inspiration of Allen Hutchinson, then Test Engineering Manager. The first annual GTAC, then called LTAC, after its London location, was hosted at Google's London Office. Due to the tremendous success of LTAC it was decided that GTAC would be formalized as an annual Google conference for test engineers, the location rotating to cover diverse locations, interests and issues.
