The Case of the Murderous IE8

Like a Bad case of  "Sarah Palin Gone Wild" , the new IE8 has strangled the Freedoms of Internet web-page makers  across the Digital Spectrum without prejudice.
DTSales was alerted to the IE8 effects on their pages ( DTSales uses FireFox) and reacted as fast as practical .

The new version of Internet Explorer (8.0 ) demands conformity to the "html4/strict.dtd".

Gone are the days of Transitional ("loose") HTML in the eyes of the Giant , although there stands a resistance and many fight to get around the redesign of their pages, DTSales has a vested interest in making sure their pages are viewable by IE8,FireFox , etc.

With a recent call to Arms, the staff searched High and Low to validate their pages with the new Strict DTD :

Allows you to paste your html into the box and request a strict  review + have it "tidy" your code.
this is a free service operated on donations , on the bottom of the page is your new code ;
Read your new code carefully and make adjustments where needed , such as an image description.

All of the DTSales websites now have compliant pages, although it appears that IE8 never had an issue with the new product pages designed by Joey Darkling on http://bestsoftwareproduct.com
