ABOUT HDD35-W86HN

HDD35-W86HN is a enhanced version of the HDD35-w82HL model. It adds support for 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD with external screwless hdd tray without opening, and USB Slave functionality to improve connectivity and transfer rates. It has been updated the HDMI output to the 1.3a spec and Audio output to 5.1CH, update to support 15 languages, allows you to pull in digital video, audio and photos from various sources for your enjoyment on your HDTV or Home Theater setup.
You can stream or playback your digital media content from a variety of sources, such as your PC, NAS, digital camera, USB mass storage devices (Flash drive, HDD, DVD drive) ,  internal SATA HDD** and even directly from the Internet via the Media Service Portal.
It also serves as a NAS and a BitTorrent peer-to-peer downloader*** to eliminate the need to switch on a PC or other device for this purpose.
The HDD35-W86HN supports the latest high bitrate video formats (MPEG2 MP@HL, H.264 HP@L4.1, VC-1 AP@L3 in TS of at least 40Mbps) to give you up to 1080p high-definition videos.
In recognition of advances in Internet TV, the HDD35-W86HN supports peer-to-peer Internet TV streaming technology from popular unicast internet TV such as MSP, YouTube, Revision 3 and Vuze via the Media Service Portal.
USB-device connection to connect it to a computer through USB cable, improving its connectivity and data transfer rates, as well. The HDMI connector has been upgraded to version 1.3a, so it allows Audio pass-through for DTS HD-HR, DTS HD-MA, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD.

Once connected to your network, the NMT will automatically detect any UPnP AV Servers in your local network and it will add all the available contents. That allows the NMT to display all the found multimedia contents on your TV. As a Network Attached Storage, the NMT allows users to store, access or copy their multimedia contents to the NMT device via FTP or Samba. This allows any UPnP or DLNA devices to access the NMT to transfer files.

The NMT is perfect to access all your multimedia contents. Once installed you will have fast and easy access to all your favorite files. Once connected to your network, the NMT configures itself and automatically displays all the available AV/DLNA UPnP devices, and adds every shared file. With a few clicks with its remote control, you will be ready to see everything: Internet TV, Internet shared photo albums, Online radio stations, all kind of codified multimedia files, etc.

High Definition. The NMT supports most of the high definition contents available on the Internet, like the most popular HD formats. WMV9, DivX HD and MPEG2TS are only a few of the codecs supported by the NMT. Its powerful chipset adds support to the new high definition codec that is becoming the HD standard, the H.264 (MPEG 4 part 10) and plays containers that use this compression codec like AVI, MP4, TS, MOV, MKV (Matroska) etc. In addition to support for HD files, the NMT also includes the option to ensure the best broadcast without loss of quality.

All-in-one Solutions. The NMT is both a client and a server. It is a combination of a Network Attached Storage device (NAS), a Server and a Media Player. As NAS uses a Samba Server for an easy access to files stored on its hard drive. As server uses the UPnP AV NMPRv2.1 protocol and its compatible with the DLNA specification that allows compatibility with a wide range of devices as well as allowing other DMPs (Digital Media Player) accessing the NMT to perform streaming and playback its contents.  

The HDD35-W86HN firmware is upgradeable to support future media containers, codecs and features.
