The most-awaited feature is the repository changes tracking.
Six connectors now have the ability to track changes to the repository and deliver a list of added, updated and deleted documents since the last request. Changes to content, permissions and metadata are taken into account on an immediate basis. This is a long-awaited feature that is truly ground-breaking.  

This is a critical feature used to monitor and register all the modifications happening in any content repository. It is a fantastic feature for all software products that need to be aware as quickly as possible of any change in a content repository. In the Enterprise Search market, the repository changes tracking is a “must-have”, so as to keep an index updated. Instead of having to browse all the repositories to build an up-to-date index, EntropySoft connectors deliver automatically the changes to the repositories.
This exclusive revolutionary feature will greatly increase the synchronization speed of repositories and continuous index updating.

Repository changes tracking is available for the following systems: EMC Documentum Content Server, Open Text Livelink, IBM FileNET P8, Microsoft SharePoint 2007, Microsoft Exchange WebStorage, Open Text eDocs Hummingbird DM.

This new feature is included in the latest release of EntropySoft’s connectors’ portfolio which includes significant improvements across all connectors. EntropySoft connectors now also support URL generation, improved exception handling, improved schema information details, full details on permissions as well as user and group directories.
