Spinal cord injury and Bedsore Treated Using Stem Cell Therapy

Aug. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Mr. Amit was a 25 year old, fit and healthy youngster. Illness or injury certainly didn’t cross his mind. One unfaithful day when he was on his way to work, crossing the railway tracks and due to sheer negligence, he was knocked down by a train.

Though not expected to live, Amit beat the odds and survived. But the quality of life that he was going to have after having an injured spine was something that one cannot imagine. He was on complete bed rest for almost 7 months.
Life took a downturn, with another painful problem-Bed sores. When he first approached StemOne he had two big bed sores on both his thighs and experienced no sensation in both his legs.

Finally in 2009, the family took correct decision to undergo Autologous Bone Marrow therapy and was given two shots of Mononuclear stem cells.

After 3 months, reports revealed that his right bedsore was 95% healed and left bedsore was 25% healed. Post therapy he experienced a tingling sensation in his right leg which initially had no sensation.
