Bank Guard Threatened By RobbersA Security Guard has been threatened and a cash box stolen in a robbery outside a bank.

In another development, five people have been charged after a security guard was shot in the leg as he delivered money in Lancashire. The 30-year-old victim was delivering money to a cash machine in Preston Old Road, Blackburn, when he was attacked last December. Four men, aged 20, 22, 28 and 31 and a 24-year-old woman are due to appear before Blackburn Magistrates later. The men aged 20 and 22 have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and wounding with intent. The two other men and the woman have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
