Baltimore Fashion Week continues to help local business thrive in this economy

Meet the vendors of Baltimore Fashion Week
By: Butterfly Productions

July 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Butterfly Productions decided in 2008 to have local business as vendors during this year’s production of Baltimore Fashion Week.  Vendors will be available along the Fayette Street side of the War Memorial Building.  If you are coming from I-83 South, you would make a right on Fayette Street, you won’t be able to miss them.  Just look for the big tent, because that is where they will be.

“We were not sure what the response and turn-out would be when we made the decision to host vendors at this year’s event.  We made our vendor registration really pleasing to the vendor’s eye and their financial budget, and to our surprise we managed for a first timer to have a total of 15 vendors to register this year.  I told my mother, WOW I can’t believe we have that many,” stated Antoine Brown, Vice President Butterfly Productions.

Vendors will have available for sale and/or information purposes on jewelry, fashion accessories, clothing, T-shirts, catering tastings, and how to lose weight safely.  This year vending will be at the War Memorial Building, located at 101 North Gay Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 between the hours of 12 Noon to 7:00 p.m.

The vendors available for your support will be:

Arbonne International - The idea to provide skin care products unparalleled in quality and effectiveness developed in Switzerland in 1975, when one man, Petter Mørck, together with a group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists, fulfilled his vision and founded Arbonne.  Arbonne's skin care products, based on botanical principles, became a reality in the United States in 1980 and are now shared throughout the world through Arbonne's network of Independent Consultants. Building on these same founding principles, Arbonne's product line has since grown to include both inner and outer health and beauty products that are unparalleled in quality, safety, value, benefits and results!  The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that it's not just about great products, it's also about great people.

Charm Apparel Brands - Charm Apparel Brands was established in 2006, by Alabama native Charquis Meadows, with a vision of designing women’s clothing that invokes attitude, sophistication, and sexiness. Since that time, Charm Apparel Brands developed a women’s line in spring 2007 with unique and one of a kind designs.

Cookie Lee Fashion Jewelry - Driven by a desire to have a business that would allow her to be at home with her children, Cookie Lee began selling jewelry to family and friends in 1985. As her business grew, Cookie recognized that selling jewelry could empower other women to build a business of their own. As a result, Cookie Lee became a direct sales company offered to the public in 1992.

Diet-To-Go  - Whether you prefer our nationwide delivery or convenient local pick-up, Diet-to-Go is the ultimate meal provider for determined dieters and the on-the-go crowd.

Distinctive Accessories & Apparel -  Owned and operated by two women, these women sell women's contemporary and fashion-forward accessories and apparel.  In business for over 20 years, these women look forward to meeting you in August 2009.

Epps Consulting -  If your life revolves around bargain shopping on Saturdays and gabbing about upcoming local designers, you understand the sincere emotion Epps Consulting owner Christine Epps has for retail. Even though Maryland overflowed with retail shops and small business owners, over the years Christine watched it receive little national press, confining the state's talent to our state borders. Through the years she took lessons learned in school and always found a way to apply them to her then potential company. In fact, the logo for Epps Consulting was inspired by a drawing created in high school which featured her initials. After graduating from Stevenson University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, she knew it was time to start Epps Consulting.  Originally, the company was designed to combine her two great loves and promote them on a higher level, but eventually it became something more. As Christine became more informed, she shared her knowledge of the marketing industry with her clients, empowering them and forming a learning cycle. Epps Consulting became an example of the power of continual education, and how taking what you love and applying it to your career can be powerfully rewarding.
