"If it ain't broke - break it!"

Lateral thinking brings new Freestyle/stunt-bike onto the bicycle market.

July 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Introducing a new wheel-size to the bicycle industry has meant that freestyle riders from both the BMX and Mountain-bike worlds now have a bike to handle the extremes of trick and stunt riding.
The 'Zeitgeist' bike from a small UK company, Faction Bike Co, uses high-strength, ultra lightweight new wheel design to produce a tough, cool-looking bike at a very affordable price.
The bike has 22" wheels which is a new 'sweet-spot' size between conventional 20" bmx wheels and 24" Freestyle MTB wheels. The bike has the style and simplicity of a BMX with the speed and stability of an MTB.  The bike has already suprised better equipped racers on the track and the concept has been adopted by some of the world's most famous riders.
The 22 inch wheel concept was 'talked-about' back in the 1980's as being the future for BMX and freestyle riding for adult sized riders, but the idea has only just become a reality thanks to the risk takers at Faction Bike Co.
Faction's website is at http://www.factionbikeco.com   (new site to be launched in late August). The bike won its 'test' on UK TV show The Gadget Show and is soon to be featured again. The bike has brought several 'legendary' riders back into the spotlight having been seen riding impressively well on the new bike.
