Hemeon honored for 20 years in Telecommunications Industry

July 23, 2009 - PRLog -- Mr Mark Hemeon Sr was awarded the Howell Award for the following accomplishments.

At E.F Johnson Mr Hemeon designed and implemented some of the largest SMR mobile radio systems in the United States and worked on the testbed cellular system in Chicago using EF Johnson cell site transceivers.

A Vice President of American Mobile Communications ( Amnetcom) Mr. Hemeon opened staffed and managed their  Regional offices in Los Angles, Boston and Florida. The Florida operation became the largest volume agent in the Bell South operating area. Mr. Hemeon worked with Uniden to fix their feature set and develop their distribution with the Carriers and AMNETCOM.

While consulting for Boat Phone he designed and implemented a cellular to dial tone device including the reprogramming of the PBX  ARS in the Mitel and Siemens  systems by SID of the cellular system to allow consistent dialing on any system in the Caribbean. This system was installed on many of the cruise ships plying the Caribbean waters.  

Consulting for Dassault in France he fixed the feature set and DES encryption for the new line of hand held credit and smart card devices developed by Dassault.

As principal of Automated Cash Transactions ( Act ) Mr Hemeon started with the Honor Network then pushed through the Surcharge system on Mastro, Cirrus and Plus Transaction networks to support the costs of connection of ATM's from the shipboard cash dispensers. He installed over 100 ACT machines before M& I purchased the network.

At MPC Business Systems Hemeon Developed the company from a small Mom & Pop shop into the 4 largest interconnect in South Florida with over 40,000 installed CPE lines

Mr Hemeon is currently with ITTC a platinum AT&T agent.
