Novelist's new character gets a Twitter page

Novelist D.L. Shiloh blurs the line again between the real and the unreal. This time, the new character of his novel-in-progress gets his own page on Twitter.

July 1, 2009 - PRLog -- Novelist D.L. Shiloh blurs the line again between the real and the unreal. In 2008 he tapped the celebrity obsession with "POOKOO," a story about a former famous athlete whose headline-grabbing ways turned him into a tragic sex-driven phenom.

This time, the new character of his novel-in-progress gets his own page on Twitter.

"This new book mentions the life after the Internet," Shiloh said. "I wanted to use all of the bells and whistles and practical uses of the Net in "Pookoo" but couldn't because it was set in 1991. This story is right up to date."

Currently Shiloh is keeping the new title and Twitter page secret but will announce it on his own site and author Twitter page in the months to come. The tweets will be directly from the upcoming novel.

"It's a nice progression from producing on the Inter," Shiloh said, who began producing for the Internet in 1995 with his celebrity chats on AOL.

Shiloh gained a worldwide audience in 15 countries when offering "Pookoo" for free as an e-book from his sites. The comic-yet dark novel is available at Amazon.com as a Kindle or paperback.
