June 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Dallas, Texas –    At a time when the pillars of the U.S. economy stand on shaky ground, Pursuit of Excellence, Inc., is reporting an increase in business and is expecting a sizeable increase in sales revenue over last year.

According to Hispanic Business Magazine (June 2009), “the overall revenues of the nation’s 500 leading Hispanic-owned firms actually went up”.  This fact is in sharp contrast with the annual Fortune 500 list, which reported a drop in earnings totaling 85% during the similar period.  Entering the HIspanic 500 list at Number 485, Pursuit of Excellence is among several Hispanic-owned companies poised to do well in this sluggish economy.

Marie Diaz, Founder and CEO of Pursuit of Excellence, Inc., (http:www.pursuitofexcellenceinc.com), explains her company’s growth: “In this marketplace, many companies are forced to reduce expenses not just to conserve resources during this harsh economic winter, but in many cases, as a matter of survival.” Upon implementing their cost cutting measures, companies are realizing the value of outsourcing many of their Human Resource administrative functions such as risk assessment, risk management, payroll, employee training, and employee recruiting and benefits administration.

These are the areas within an organization which present the greatest risk of exposure to financial loss, in the form of employee lawsuits and regulatory violations. However, explains Diaz, “because these are also the areas which produce no revenue for most organizations, companies are wise to consider outsourcing some or all of these services, which may or may not include contracting with a professional employer organization that co-employs the staff and assumes all human resource duties.”

“The administrative work that is necessary for a business to comply with a myriad of state and federal laws is overwhelming. Although it is legally required, these processes are at best, a nuisance to the small business owner who needs to be able to focus on generating revenue, and not on the tedious paperwork that comes along with it,” said Diaz.

Sandra Barron, Pursuit of Excellence, Inc’s HR Director said “the majority of our clients don’t have the time to go to seminars or to search online to maintain current on changes in workplace regulations. Our clients appreciate receiving frequent emails alerting them of updates, as well as the ability to call us at any time to have their questions answered.”
