June 7, 2009 - PRLog -- FantasyCrowd.com officially launched their website recently. Combining social media elements along with a focus on fantasy sports, the site has quickly become a hit among fantasy sport players.

Created by a group of fantasy sport enthusiasts from Detroit with the approximate 50 million people who play fantasy sports online and the over 200 million active facebook members in mind, it’s not hard to see that this endeavor is packed with potential and no wonder their slogan is:

“Got Fantasy…Join the Crowd”

Fantasycrowd.com is a website dedicated to bringing fantasy sports enthusiasts together from all over the world. A place where sports fans can interact with like-minded people who share the same passion. FantasyCrowd.com is also a forum where sports fans, league owners, players and anyone else who just loves sports can post, share, sell and advertise their passion for free.

Positioning themselves as the “facebook of fantasy sports” http://www.fantasycrowd.com features many tools that allow their members to stay informed and stay connected with each other. Their fantasy football insiders have helped thousands with their questions and hundreds win their league championships with expert tips and advice.

You can create a profile, update your status on the wire in 140 characters or less like twitter, read the blogs, make a comment, make your own blog, create a widget, create an rss feed, create a league, talk trash with other fantasy players of your caliber, enter into contests, participate in polls, create groups, get a draft kit and much more. They also feature fantasy focus weekly articles from senior writer Dave Seidl at http://fantasycrowd.com/pg/blog/dtseidl.

If you are involved with fantasy sports online you may have heard of the FantasyCrowd.com owner Dennis Robinson, especially in the many different fantasy sport blogs and forums where he is known as the FantasyInsider:

"To me, being able to help one compete and reach the pinnacle of his goals...well, that is what keeps the inside of me burning. I've helped thousands win their leagues and I want to help you too! I'll see you on the inside at FantasyCrowd.com, so look me up! Most importantly to me however, is to continue to give back to the community and more so help our children who have special needs and limitations either physically, psychologically or financially.  Working with notable foundations that reach the kids is special, very special and it is what we do!”

A portion of the proceeds at FantasyCrowd.com go to Kurt Warner's First Things First foundation, Jim Kelly's Kelly for Kids, St. Judes Hospitals, Children's Hospitals of Michigan, and the Make a Wish Foundation. They are also offering incentives for those who help bring more members.
