Teen "Singing for a Cure" for Leukemia Announces Release

A 14 year old high school freshman Kailey Carranza, an inspiring music artist, is dedicating her hard work, time and inspiration by donating 100% of the proceeds of her to her debut album, "Singing for a Cure" solely to fight against leukemia.

Tucson Az May 1, 2009: A 14 year old high school freshman from Tucson Arizona, who has been putting her musical talents toward a worthy cause for the past year, is announcing its completion. Kailey Carranza, an inspiring music artist, is dedicating her hard work, time and inspiration with a CD Release party dedicating 100% of the proceeds solely to charity. A Marana High School, freshman Kailey Carranza, has spent the past year dedicating her free time to her debut album, "Singing for a Cure."

This one day release event benefiting the Leas Foundation for Leukemia Research Inc, is taking place on Saturday June 6, 2009 inside the Foothills Mall in front of the Barnes and Nobel entrance, 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd.Tucson, Arizona 85741 from 2pm to 4pm. Featuring original music by 14yr old Kailey Carranza, known for her dedication to help those less fortunate that herself. Because of the collaboration on the album with local producers Billy Joseph and Steve Logic H&H Beat Factory and sponsor, local Realtor, Cathy Chavez of Long Realty, this cd is possible.

This much anticipated CD Release is a free event and open to the public, to help bring awareness and fight against leukemia. The Lea's Foundation for Leukemia Research, Inc., is a prominent nonprofit that provides support for blood cancer research efforts and dedicated $1.25 million to create the Lea’s Foundation Center for Hematologic Disorders, dedicated in 2007 as a center of excellence for research and world-class care for patients with benign and malignant blood disorders including sickle cell disease, bleeding and clotting disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and others.

With a $15 donation, you will receive the “Singing for a Cure” CD and a raffle ticket. The ticket will be entered into a drawing where you have the chance to win several items.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to encourage the youth to go out and give back to the community. Every teen has the ability to donate time.
