The Worldwide Green Foundation Releases $100 = 1 ACRE for Charity & Carbon Footprint Reduction

May 22, 2009 - PRLog -- The Worldwide Green Foundation has just released the $100 = 1 ACRE campaign as part of their worldwide carbon footprint reduction campaign. The 1 ACRE investment is in Hacienda Juval, which is made up of over 200,000 acres of primary forest in Ecuador, South America. The main purpose of this project is Forest Protection and Carbon Footprint Reduction. 15% of the project made up of the Sangay National Park.

1 ACRE investments in the Hacienda are currently yielding an annual 10% return on investment (ROI) based on the existing land lease that sells Carbon Credits for Forest Protection and Reforestation efforts. Investors are not only contributing to a Green Future, but also securing an investment that will produce a steady return over the life of the project.

Beyond the eco-friendly, GREEN contribution to our environment and the future of the earth, The Worldwide Green Foundation will also be contributing $10 per ACRE to the Rainforest Alliance. The campaign will raise over $2 million dollars in charitable donations, 10% ROI on investments, and over 200,000 acres of forest protection efforts.
