Bob Casey of WorkSmart Wins 40 Under 40 Award

May 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Research Triangle Park, N.C. – WorkSmart, the premier provider of Information Technology services and solutions in North Carolina, has announced that Sales Manager Bob Casey has been named one of Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under 40” winners in 2009. Triangle Business Journal recognizes outstanding young leaders with this award for their contributions to both their professions and the community.  Casey was recognized at the awards luncheon held May 1st at the Crabtree Marriott in Raleigh.

Named WorkSmart’s sales manager in 2005, Casey has been passionate about the nonprofit community and has established a relationship with the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits.  His service has helped WorkSmart become a leading internet technology partner for nonprofit organizations throughout North Carolina. Casey was also named WorkSmart’s “Salesperson of the Year” in 2008.  

“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many influential business leaders in the Triangle region,” said Casey. “My career at WorkSmart has helped me to have a direct impact on both the company and many non-profit institutions across the state.”

Casey was instrumental in developing WorkSmart’s annual Riley Hill Family Life Center Award.  Given to a nonprofit group with demonstrated financial need, the annual award provides pro-bono IT services to the winning organization for a full year.
