PRLog -- Mark A. Kattoura completed his first level of graduate studies at Florida Atlantic University, earning a master’s degree in intercultural and rhetorical communications. He is presently a Ph.D. student in comparative studies (public intellectuals track) at FAU, where he is focusing his research on online communications and social media. Prior to returning to academia, he was the communications and marketing coordinator at Bluegreen Corporation. In that capacity, he was responsible for the company’s first online crisis communications campaign and played a significant role in various marketing projects and promotions. In addition, he was instrumental in starting Bluegreen’s communications department in 2005 as one of its first communications specialists. Mark has more than a decade of experience in the communications and media industries. Through various high-profile positions within publicly traded companies as well as nonprofit and academic environments, he has acquired additional experience in business administration and organizational development. Mark is an esteemed member of the Public Relations Society of America as well as a member of the International Association of Business Communicators. He supports various community initiatives within the Palm Beach and South Florida area. In his spare time, he enjoys the company of family and friends and visiting different areas.
