Top Spot for “michigan seo expert” 1st page of Google

April 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Google is a wonder…who really know how it work s but Google. And for that matter…what the heck is Google anyway…My assistant Ian Gallardo and I had an hour long discussion about what Google really is. I personally picture Google as a large crystal ball or something like V.I.K.I. from I-Robot….but seriously, we’ve got all these “so-called” SEO experts which claim to have Google down to a science.

Well i am a SEO expert and I am the founder of Jacob Brown Designs which so happens to be located in the state of Michigan….now, I would love to be on the first page of Google for all of my keywords and every phase I could think of….and so do many of my clients..but thats just not realistic.

So…I’ve chosen a few targeted keywords and phrases to be competitive in my location as well as maintaining a state presence. Well..the keywords, “michigan seo expert” are at the top of my list, since I am a seo expert and do live in Michigan..LOL.

But there are many, many, many other seo experts who are using the exact same phrase in their keywords and are gunning for that listing in Google for the top spot. Can you blame them?

Well I have used quite a few different tactics, tricks, strategies, or whatever you may call them…and this morning when I typed in “michigan seo expert” in a Google search…http://www.jacobbrowndesigns.com was at the #1 spot on the first page of Google. Huurrraayyy….right? What better than to be listed for your #1 keyword/phrase for your website on the first page of Google in the #1 spot.

Now I’ve worked with several different companies and personal clients: Lee Contracting, JovanJane, R.A. Electric, Inside MBA Admissions, etc., and have placed each one at the top of Google for their heavy hitting keywords/phrases. Jacob Brown Designs has been listed on the first page of Google for many of our heavy hitters, but not until this morning were we listed #1 for “michigan seo experts”.

Now….what did we do to gain that spot?
