Rosenfield, is a licensed neurologist. He is the Director of the Speech and Language Center and Director of the EMG and Motor Control Laboratory at the Neurological Institute, The Methodist Hospital, and Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. The author is also Professor of Neurology at the Weill Medical Cornell University and served as a Major in the United States Army Reserves.
