Rasco Bug Blocker® Announces Two Improved Industrial Screen Door Products

April 21, 2009 - PRLog -- Rasco Industries, Inc. recently began production of two improved products that are being added to The Bug Blocker ® Product Family. Both products were designed to be installed into manufacturing, food processing, and warehouse facilities to reduce pest infestation problems, along with providing added security, cooling, and ventilation. These improved products are The Bug Blocker Overhead Screen Door System, and The Bug Blocker Service Door Screen Insert.

The Bug Blocker Overhead Screen Door System is a complete overhead screen door that is added to an existing overhead loading dock door. Using the existing loading dock door’s vertical tracks, a switch is added, along with an additional track for storage of The Bug Blocker door. A lock mechanism, similar to the one on the existing door, adds additional security to the facility. Models are available for installation with existing High Lift, Standard Lift, Vertical Lift, Side Sliding, and Rolling Steel loading dock doors.

The Bug Blocker Service Door Screen Insert is an aluminum frame screen window that can be installed in existing service doors, instead of leaving them propped open for needed ventilation. It is easy to install by plant maintenance personnel and has several options, including a removable solid panel or a clear lexan panel that can be locked in during cooler weather, as well as storage brackets for these optional panels, and security bars.

Both of these Bug Blocker  products are designed to help eliminate the inherent contamination problems caused by leaving overhead loading dock doors and service doors wide open, the most serious being infestation of  birds, bugs, rodents, small animals, etc. The products are manufactured using stainless steel, aluminum, and stainless steel wire mesh to make wash down of the products a simple procedure.

The two standard screen sizes are .023” 12x12 mesh for high security and .011” 30x30 mesh for food processing applications. The stainless steel wire mesh meets Federal Specification STD A-A-1037B.
