Judges Sought for 'North of the Wall' Art Prize

March 20, 2009 - PRLog -- In January this year North of the Wall Ltd. announced the launch of the inaugural North of the Wall Annual Art Prize, an exciting new initiative aimed at stimulating the creative arts in general, as well as promoting the work of disabled artists.

With prize money totalling £6,000, including £3,000 for the overall winner, three runners up prizes of £500 and £1,500 for the winner of the disabled artist category, this is a major addition to arts sponsorship in the UK.

The closing date for entries is 30th April 2009, and the Prize Exhibition will be held in July/August 2009 in the North East of England.

The organisers are now seeking suitably qualified people who are willing to act as competition judges. These positions will attract no fees as profits will be going to charity. Reasonable expenses will however be paid.
