March 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Mental health treatment and therapy is now considered a standard part of medical care. However, a new website makes bold claims as to "Why psychology doesn't work."

According to James Serio M.A., publisher of MentalHealthSolution.com, the solutions to most mental health issues are found only in the Bible. This includes such common problems as anxiety and depression.

Anxiety, depression, hallucinations and more--according to Mr. Serio--involve more than just medical and psychological factors: Demonic activity and "spiritual footholds" are also key elements in these disorders. Mr. Serio cites Scriptures like Ephesians 6 and Ephesians 4:26-27 to support his hypothesis.

He contends that failure to address these spiritual issues is one key reason why secular therapy is ineffective. And usually a big waste of money.

Mr. Serio says that only the Bible provides a solid foundation from which to understand and treat most mental health issues: "You simply cannot leave God out of the picture. Most people do not have the ability to make meaningful life changes without God's help."

The MentalHealthSolution.com website provides standard Christian theology (How to Get Saved etc.). However, what makes this website unique, is that it ventures into a field long considered the exclusive turf of secular mental health professionals.
