Darryl Jovan Williams Performs with Singer Songwriter Leslie Gore at Feinstein's

March 15, 2009 - PRLog -- Dubbed by Atlanta’s V-103 super morning show radio host, Frank Ski as the “Next Kirk Franklin”, Darryl Jovan Williams who starred as “Judas” and Vocal Arranger in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit Jesus Christ Superstar Gospel for the Alliance Theater of Atlanta, shows his versatility creating vocal arrangements for legendary singer/songwriter Lesley Gore.

Mr. Williams will also be performing in addition to arrangements for Ms. Gore, who was a protégé to mega producer Quincy Jones in the early 1960s as singing sensation for hits such as “I’ll Cry If I Want To” and “You Don’t Own Me”.  Her posh engagement at Feinstein’s at the Loews Regency Nightclub in New York City will be May 5th  through the 9th.

Mr. Williams is also currently in talks with producers at Encores! Summer Series City Center regarding the upcoming production of “The Wiz” directed by the Tony Award Winning team of Thomas Kail and Choreographer Tony Blankenbueler.
