TV PET NAIL TRIMMER does it work or is it just another infomercial rip off?

March 11, 2009 - PRLog -- Ok…so here is another infomercial about a new great invention and this time it’s the as seen on tv pet nail trimmer (aka: Pedi Paws). The infomercial makes it look like it’s the safest and easiest method of trimming your pet’s nails. I was excited about this trimmer so, like always, I wanted to google it before I decided to purchase it. Me, like most people, I wanted to know…Does it really work?

I did just one initial search and read over a lot of reviews just on one site. There seemed to be more bad reviews than any good ones at all. So this was a big red flag to me that this item was just another money maker that would fade away really quick. All the reviews were saying how the pet’s nails would get caught in the product and this would cause the pets to jump away causing more damage to their nails. I also spoke with a groomer who would have saved a lot of time if this invention had really worked the way they said it would. They were more than happy to let me know their opinions on this item also. They also saw the tv pet nail trimmer but were right away turned off by the product.

Trimming your pet’s nails is an essential part of their care if they are an indoor pet. Pets that are kept in your home are not able to freely trim their nails as they would in the wild and this could cause problems the longer their nails are neglected. This product overall is not a great buy but is a great way to throw away your money. It does no more than a regular nail file and is more trouble than it is worth.

*The replaceable files are expensive and will be harder to find if the item is discontinued.

Pros:
*Trims pet’s nails perfectly.
*Quick and Easy
*Saves the time and money from going to the groomers.
*Handheld and lightweight

Overall most reviews are conflicting but in my opinion I will not be making this purchase anytime soon, even if the price is under $10. But of course the decision is yours to make ;)
