Virtual Business Concepts Supports Business Philanthropy

Virtual Business Concepts supports businesses participating in philanthropic events to help stimulate the crumbling economy.

Feb. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Virtual Business Concepts was contacted regarding website redesign by a homeowner's association in Leesburg, VA. The association wanted to redesign the feel and layout of the site to be more user-friendly and to be more appealing to the site's visitors. In an effort to draw more traffic to the website, the association wanted to have association forms included for added convenience.

The association didn't have a large budget for this project but contacted Virtual Business Concepts anyway. Because of the crumbling economic state, Virtual Business Concepts decided to take a new approach with this association. In light of the current economic crisis, Virtual Business Concepts decided to barter with the association. Instead of charging for this project, Virtual Business Concepts charged the association nothing in exchange for putting the company logo on the home page of the website.

Virtual Business Concepts knows that treating clients well will only help them in the future. Because the company is located in Maryland, having their logo on the home page of a Virginia website is good advertising and marketing for the firm - without coming out of pocket for the expense.

As a result of this philanthropic act, Virtual Business Concepts is now the webmaster for the association's web site and handles all of the desktop publishing as well. The President of the homeowner's association, Michael Bell, Jr.,  couldn't say enough good things about his interaction with Virtual Business Concepts. Mr Bell said, "Bobbi did my HOA's website and she did an outstanding job. Way beyong what we expected. She does perfect work."

When Bobbi was asked how she liked working with Mr. Bell and the association she said, "I thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone there. Their directions were clear and concise, leaving no room for doubts, which is vital in a virtual work environment." While Bobbi was pleased to receive more projects from the association, she was not surprised. "As a result of the current economic situation, many non-profit and for-profit organizations are looking to decrease overhead while still achieving the same results. I'm happy to help this association and any others any way I can."
