Dec. 1, 2008 - PRLog -- Jerry Lewis appeared at New York's Times Center Theater on November 22, 2008, for an on stage discussion with director Peter Bogdanovich. But the most interesting part of the evening happened in the audience, before the program began. The excitement was generated by Jerry Lewis himself, as 350 people looked on, when he sent security personnel from The Museum of the Moving Image, the sponsor of the event, to remove a disabled woman from her front row seat.

Although Jerry Lewis did not disclose to museum officials why he wanted the woman removed, it has been confirmed that her name is Suzan Lewis Uchitel Minoret. Suzan Lewis (as she is known professionally), is a disabled, and formerly homeless, 56 year old woman, who is currently breaking into the entertainment field as a comedienne. She is becoming a voice for the homeless in the USA. Ms. Lewis currently lives in Philadelphia in a house arranged for her by her manager, Rick Saphire. She lives on a fixed income provided by her monthly disability check. Suzan Lewis is also reportedly the biological daughter of the very same man who tried and failed to have her moved from her front row seat, Jerry Lewis.
