But after attending the guest lecture on Marketing Strategies organized by 4Ps Club where Dr. Venkata Subramanian, CEO - Dr. Venkat & Associates put light on the topic; everyone present there actually realized the power of simplicity. A lecture delivered with utmost simplicity on a simple topic and that did nothing but only changed our entire concept and beliefs about the term called ‘Strategy’! We strategize for growth and for maximizing the shareholders’ value. But how contingent is the strategy and how to simplify its complex facets are few of the things he discussed in the lecture. He started off with examples and his short stories made it really interesting. So, we came to know how Goodyear tyre came up; what is the history behind KFC and many more! He concluded the session by telling us how to formulate a strategy that is simple and can work wonders! So, look into the future to find out what is there for you...
