Mechanical Engineer Rob Gourley and Chemist Ted Suratt have launched their research and development business in Sarasota, FL involving Water Ion Technology or “Blue Technology” as announced by Gourley.  The company’s name is WIT International, LLC (website:  www.WaterIonTechnology.com).   “There are on-going concerns over the burning of hydrocarbon fuels for energy.  Alternatives such as biofuels have contributed to recent worldwide food shortages.  We have discovered a global alternative involving conversion of water into a stable, flammable gas.  When other materials come in contact with the flame, melting points occur within seconds and we can harness the intrinsic energy of these materials”.  Gourley continues “Since the beginning of time, Man and nature have been creating large amounts of CO and CO2 through the partial combustion of carbon-based materials.  WIT has shown non-carbon based materials can be used to produce clean energy with no carbon footprint.”
WIT will continue to pursue the pending international patents for this new discovery that occurred in Sarasota, and offer licensing opportunities and consultation to other companies on the wide range of potential uses for the gas.  This new company also will advance the science of ultra pure water infused with the gas, which has been in the Sarasota/Bradenton market under the brand name of Watt-AhhTM for over a year  (website: www.AquaNew.com).
