Ewing Sr. is the president and chief executive officer of Ewing Moving Service, Inc., an independent local and long distance relocation service specializing in complete packing and warehouse storage.  Charles started the company in 1980 and has since directed all of its public relations, marketing, sales, staffing, union relations, truck inventory and maintenance, and worldwide service operations.  Charles is well known for his exemplary leadership and expertise and is highly regarded for his dedication to growth for the company, staff and community.  Charles donates his time and resources to numerous charities, serves on several boards and encourages his staff to do the same.  He supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis, the Memphis Redbirds RBI Program (Returning Baseball to the Inner City), Soulsville USA, STAX Music Academy & the STAX Museum of American Soul Music, LeMoyne-Owen College, St. Andrew A.M.E. Church, the Society of Entrepreneurs, the University of Tennessee, Memphis Regional Chamber and College Bound.  Charles graduated from Southwest Community College with a degree in business accounting and is an esteemed member of the MMBC.  In his spare time, he enjoys family activities, reading and travel.
