Oct. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- SnowTrax Television, producers of the world’s most watched snowmobile enthusiast program, has expanded its Canadian broadcast network with the addition of A-Channel and TSN2.

Commencing November 1st, SnowTrax Television will span 26 weeks of programming on the A-Channel stations of A-Barrie, A-London and A-Ottawa which reach over 3.8 million households. Fans of SnowTrax Television will be treated to an encore presentation of the 2008 winter season as the 2009 series nears its debut date of December 27th.  “We’re excited about the addition of A-Channel to our Canadian broadcast network, our fans have been wanting more and A-Channel provided a great opportunity to start the snowmobile season early and carry the snowmobile excitement into the heart of the winter riding season,” commented Jeff Steenbakkers, Host of SnowTrax Television.

SnowTrax Television programming schedule for A-Channel will be Saturday mornings at 9:00am ET on the London and Ottawa stations and Sundays at 12:30pm ET on the Barrie station.

In addition to A-Channel, SnowTrax Television has expanded its national reach on Canada’s largest national sports network with the newly announced TSN2. TSN2 is, in part, a time shifted West Coast feed of TSN programming and will offer fans of SnowTrax Television the advantage of encore presentations and twice as many timeslots for viewers across the country to tune in and watch SnowTrax. “We take great pride in the fact that the 2009 season will mark our 15th year of broadcast on TSN,” said Vern Putzer, Director of Sales and Marketing for SnowTrax Television “our sponsors have always benefited from TSN’s national household reach of over 9 million households and our expanded coverage with TSN2 will further solidify SnowTrax as being North America’s most watched snowmobile show and further strengthen our sponsors reach to snowmobile enthusiasts.”
SnowTrax Television programming schedule for TSN will be Saturday mornings at 6:00am and 11:00am ET along with Wednesday afternoons at 12:30pm ET. Programming on TSN2, will be Saturdays at 9:00am and 2:00pm ET along with Wednesdays at 3:30pm ET.
For American fans of SnowTrax Television, the first episode of the 2009 season will debut on December 29th on Outdoor Channel’s Monday night motorsport programming block. As well, fans of SnowTrax Television will once again be able to log onto the SnowTrax website and view full length feature episodes with true broadband viewing quality at anytime and at any place.
