PRLog -- Alexis C. Bell is a senior forensic auditor for the Delhaize Group, a food retailer headquartered in Belgium which operates in seven countries. As a certified fraud examiner, Alexis is responsible for assisting with the development of the Delhaize Group’s anti-fraud program; conducting international fraud investigations and developing fraud awareness training. Prior to joining the Delhaize Group in 2006, Alexis was with the forensic accounting and investigative services group of Grant Thornton, LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in applied economics and management from the prestigious Cornell University and is an esteemed member of the executive board of the Charlotte chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the national Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Institute of Internal Auditors and is an associate member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Alexis is also an accomplished teacher, speaker and researcher who has shared her expertise with a variety of industry organizations and publications and is the author of Ratio Red Flags for Fraud, published in the Journal of Forensic Accounting. She is equally dynamic within the community and is the founder and co-chair of Food Lion and Cornell Native American Business Resource Group, and serves as a forensic accountant mentor for Cornell University Alumni Association.
