PRLog -- Sharina Smith is the senior director of marketing and communications at Southwest Baptist University, home to approximately 1,600 outstanding undergraduate students and 900 graduate students. As a private, four-year, Christian university, SBU offers associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in more than 45 academic disciplines, including pre-professional programs, business and nursing, as well as liberal arts majors. Sharina joined SBU in 2006, bringing extensive experience in marketing and public relations, acquired through several senior level positions within various high profile companies. As senior director of marketing and communication, she is depended on to oversee all aspects of advertising, alumni activities and public relations. Sharina is a graduate of Westchester University and an esteemed member of the PRSA, SIC, CCM and BCA. She is equally committed to philanthropic pursuits and supports the community through various church activities and donations to school sponsored programs. At home in Bolivar, Missouri, Sharina enjoys being the mother of four, singing, attending church and reading.
