beroNet’s product BNXS0e has been set for release

Oct. 13, 2008 - PRLog -- beroNet, German leader in developing, creating, and distributing of Asterisk based PCI cards announced a new family of telephony interface cards based on the PCI Express (PCIe) format.
The Asterisk experts from Berlin are demonstrating their competence and their practical experience with the latest addition to the BNXS0 family.

The BNXS0e allows the hardware compatibility to current computer systems which provide only the recent PCI express standard. The BNXS0e is compatible with mISDN and is operable with Asterisk Open Source PBX, PBX4Linux, and with all chan_mISDN compatible applications for example.

The BNXS0e card series is available with two or four ports. All ports can be configured for NT (Network Termination) or TE (Terminal Equipment) by jumpers. The BNXS0e card supports the feature Hardware Bridging which is very important for data- and fax calls. Both the BNXS0e card itself and also multiple cards can be interconnected over an external PCM bus.

The configuration and integration of the BNXS0e card in an Asterisk Open Source PBX is very simple by the use of the channel driver which is covered by the GPL (General Public License) licensing agreement.
