PRLog -- Elizabeth Alling is the executive vice president of Quebec Labrador Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that fosters long-term leadership development by supporting community-based conservation initiatives, developing models of natural and cultural resources and aiding in community service, economic expansion and heritage preservation. Beth joined QLF in 2002, bringing two decades of experience in journalism and a passion for working with people. As executive vice president, she is responsible for a wide range of services such as organizational development, communications and publications, overseeing Middle East programs and supervising The Sounds Conservancy. Prior to joining QLF, Beth was a documentary producer and writer for ABC News 20/20 and covered stories on the environment, science, medicine, public health and the arts. She has worked in public television and as an independent producer for Christian Science Monitor Television, NBC News and Public Broadcasting. Additionally, Beth is the editor of A Mighty Fortress, the biography of her father, who was a lead pilot in the United States Air Force during World War II. She is equally dynamic in her personal undertakings and within the community. Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the prestigious University of California, at Berkeley and is an active member of the New England Council of the Wildlife Conservation Society. She lives in Essex County, Massachusetts, where she enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, sailing, playing tennis, writing, photography and sports.
