Karen Murk Potter, costume shop manager and designer for the California Institute of the Arts, has been chosen for inclusion in the 2008-2009 Princeton Premier Registry.
 
Oct. 6, 2008 - PRLog -- Karen Murk Potter is the costume shop manager and designer for the California Institute of the Arts, the nation's first art institute to offer Bachelor of Fine Art degrees and Master of Fine Art degrees in both the visual and performing arts.  Karen has been with “CalArts” since 2006 and is responsible for supervising twenty-three undergraduate students, managing the costume shop, designing costumes and overseeing productions.  She is an expert on costuming and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in costume design from Temple University. Karen is well known and widely admired for her exemplary record of successfully completed projects and is highly regarded for her professionalism by both faculty and students.  She is equally dynamic within the community and maintains an active philanthropic profile, supporting several organizations that benefit local fine arts programs and education.  Off campus, Karen enjoys travel, time with family and California Institute of the Arts theatre productions.
